Meet Karla

Hi, I’m Karla - dressage rider, entrepreneur, and business enthusiast.

I’ve spent over a decade leading from the front: building, running, and even selling businesses across aviation, logistics, consultancy, and sport. My career has taken me from directing high-stakes flight operations and managing international athletes to running events and overseeing our home-base livery yard.

This diverse background has given me a unique perspective. It’s taught me that to run a small business, you have to become a master of adaptability. You learn how to see the bigger picture, find the most cost-effective path, and teach yourself a new skill on the fly - because if something needs doing, you’re the one who gets it done. I know firsthand the unique challenge of applying this mindset in the equestrian world, where your passion and your profit are always intertwined.

That’s why I created The Equestrian Biz Hub. It’s where I bring all my real-world experience, from the ‘boardroom’ to the ‘stable yard, to offer practical, no-nonsense support that helps your equestrian business thrive..
